The Story: In 1998, on a trip to lecture and teach, David sought to capture a story with every snapshot. At the RA Brown Ranch in Throckmorton, Texas, after a long day of shooting, David spotted Jody Bellah riding his horse, backlit, with Rob Brown's grandchildren sitting on the fence watching. Through his lens, David conveyed the narrative he sought. Today, the RA Brown Ranch is run by some of those in this picture.
