The Story: In 1998, on a trip to lecture and teach, David sought to capture a story with every snapshot. At the RA Brown Ranch in Throckmorton, Texas, after a long day of shooting, David spotted Jody Bellah riding his horse, backlit, with Rob Brown's grandchildren sitting on the fence watching. Through his lens, David conveyed the narrative he sought.
